- Q. What artwork should I send so you can make my stamp?
-
You can send any good black and white artwork; if the artwork is good, the stamp will be good. You can post in your artwork, or email it through. - (mym@makeyourmark.biz) - We prefer TIFF or PDF images, or higher resolution JPEG images around 300dpi. If you haven't got black on white artwork, send what you have, and we will see if we can change it to black on white.
- Q. How long will it take for you to make my stamp?
-
We say 24 hours - we have a faster service at an extra cost.
- Q. Do you deliver, and how much is it?
-
We do deliver, we post out to anywhere in the world.
We charge you what it costs us at the Post Office.

Free Collect from Shop: Use this if you would like to collect your order from our shop in the centre of York. We will contact you when your order is ready. - Q. What is a self inking stamp?
-
Self inking stamps have an inkpad within the unit. The inkpad can last upto 2000 impressions before you need to replace it. We also sell the replacement inkpads, so if you have difficulty finding replacement inkpads we can post one out to you. Colours available are black, green, purple, blue and red. Self inking stamps are particularly suited to paper and card.
- Q. What is a hand stamp?
-
A hand stamp is the more traditional type of stamp. You buy the hand stamp but also require an additional ink pad to stamp it into before stamping onto the surface that you want to mark. Advantages are that you have literally millions of coloured ink pads to choose from, plus you can use specialist ink pads, such as StazOn, which can be used on laminated papers, wood, glass, leather and a multitude of other surfaces.
